These terms govern your use of Marven Systems (the "Site" and "Game"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. About the Game

Marven Systems is a free, browser-based strategy game. It is a work of fiction. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the real Maven Smart System, Palantir Technologies, the U.S. Department of Defense, or any military, defence, or government entity. All callsigns, mission text, place names, and equipment descriptions are fictional or used in a clearly fictional context.

2. No Warranty

The Site and Game are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its servers, or any related infrastructure.
Disrupt, damage, or impair the Site's functionality.
Reverse-engineer the Site for the purpose of building a competing commercial product, except as permitted by law.

4. Intellectual Property

All Site content — code, graphics, text, and design — is the property of the Site operator unless otherwise indicated. You may play the Game and share screenshots and gameplay clips for non-commercial purposes. Wholesale republication of the Site's code or assets requires written permission.

5. Saved Data

The Game uses your browser's local storage to remember campaign progress. This data lives on your device and is not transmitted to us. Clearing your browser data will erase your saved campaign.

6. Third-Party Services

The Site loads map tiles and fonts from third-party services (such as Leaflet and Google Fonts). Your use of those resources is subject to their own terms.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Site operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Site or Game.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
